Edmondson Park is a residential suburb located 32 kilometres southwest of Sydney`s central business district, in the local government area of the City of Liverpool. The suburb is named in honour of John Edmondson, an Australian recipient of the Victoria Cross medal for bravery in WWII. Formerly a part of the Parish of Denham Court, Edmondson Park was gazetted as its own suburb in 1970. The suburb forms part of Sydney`s southwestern growth centre. In recent years, Ed.
