Gledswood Hills is a residential suburb located 57 kilometres southwest of Sydney`s central business district, in the local government area of the Camden Council. A relatively new suburb, Gledswood Hills is situated in the Macarthur Region of Sydney. The suburb is found between Leppington to the north and Gregory Hills to the south.

History

While much of the land surrounding Gledswood Hills remains semi-rural, the suburb forms part of one of Sydney`s most rapidly growing population regions. Gledswood Hills was gazetted as its own suburb in 2011 and is named after the heritage-listed Gledswood Estate. Formerly a vineyard, colonial farm and homestead, the Gledswood Estate was built between 1827 and 1855 and today operates as a historic home and wedding venue.
