Hoxton Park is a residential suburb located 39 kilometres west of Sydney's central business district, in the Greater Western Sydney Region. The suburb forms part of the local government area of the City of Liverpool and is found between Hinchinbrook to the north and Carnes Hill to the south.
Following European settlement, a number of landholdings were granted in the early 19th century in the Hoxton Park area. Bernera, a weatherboard homestead, was built in 1857. Hoxton Park was named in 1887 when its land was subdivided. Hoxton Park Airport was constructed during WWII for defence purposes. For a number of decades, the airport operated as a small general aviation aerodrome before its permanent closure in 2008.
Inspire Church Liverpool is based in Hoxton Park's east, near to Hinchinbrook Creek. The suburb also contains part of Cabramatta Creek, which acts as Hoxton Park's southeastern border. Green spaces and a number of parks are found near the suburb's waterways, including Brownes Farm Reserve and Woolgoolga Reserve.
